Mercy has just arrived and all ready her charming little personality has been shining through. She is full of little boxer tail wags and bum wiggles every time you are close to her. The saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover, and Miss Mercy would be the perfect example of that. At first glance you see a very small, misshapen little girl, and some of her pictures make tears come to your eyes. But don't feel too sorry for her. For starters Mercy has been lucky enough to be rescued from a rural high-kill shelter in Quebec, where based on her current condition she would have definitely been euthanized. And believe it or not Mercy gets around amazing well on her very short, bowed legs, she actually doesn't know that there is anything wrong with her! Mercy is now safely in a Boxer Rescue foster home and will begin the process of diagnosing her medical needs. Now this is where it may get a bit tricky. Mercy likely has a long costly road ahead of her with many, many vet and specialist visits to see what we can do for this very special little girl. Boxer Rescue believes Mercy deserves a chance at a wonderful life and they are committed to doing everything they can for this little girl but they need your help.
