Adding one of these sprightly characters to your family brings you laughter and the best kind of companionship.

Lucy (AKA Emmy)

We had a boxer, named Bob who I thought was in need of a friend. When I saw Lucy on the Boxer Rescue site I fell in love. My husband wasn't 100% sure about adopting another dog and when I showed him Lucy he was the one who contacted BRO and he fell in love. We met with Lucy and her foster family and despite her past she was the most loving dog. She is a fierce hugger and she LOVES to cuddle, she has the best boxer bum wiggles. She loves everyone she meets. We have been taking her to Rally Obedience classes to improve her dog to dog socialization skills and she is doing great. Bob and Lucy get along great and are often found sleeping together, we do have to watch them around food as it seems to be the only area where there is conflict but overall they are the best of buds. Although she has some challenges and is allergic to many things the allergies are easily managed with food and medication when necessary.  We could not imagine our lives without her.
