Meet Chicago aka Chocha
You might remember seeing me on the website awhile back, but since I have been improving so dramatically we felt that I needed a new name that suited me - Chicago, for my white socks.
I'm looking for my forever home. Boxer Rescue Ontario (BRO) is looking for someone that will continue training with BRO's trainer (no expense to you), and someone that will be patient with me while I continue to turn into a good citizen. When I first came to this foster home I didn't like dogs, now I can play with both female and male dogs after a slow introduction - sometimes I still get nervous in new situations.
So is there anyone out there that can help me - I promise you will not be disappointed. Please fill out our online application at: www.boxerrescueontario.com/index.php?section=online_application.
More on Chicago...
Chicago is a young female Boxer with lots of love to give! She enjoys spending time with her family, and particularly loves the children she's grown up with. Her favourite activities include playing fetch, soccer and going for a swim on a hot day. Chicago likes being with her family so much that she can become extremely anxious when she's alone, and she can be placed with male/female dogs with slow introduction however doesn't like cats. (Please do not apply if you have cats) She can be a little shy when meeting new people, and likes to have her own time and space to make new friends. Chicago will need some help to manage her issues, and Boxer Rescue will provide full support from our behavior consultant to help any foster or adoptive parent who chooses her. Her family is experiencing changes in their living situation, and we'd love to find a foster or adoptive home as soon as possible for her.
