Adding one of these sprightly characters to your family brings you laughter and the best kind of companionship.

We lost our beloved boxer Nelson, in February 2011 and felt such emptiness without him. Our surviving boxer Willow, was so unbelievably sad that for months she would pace up and down the hallway crying, stare out the window for hours, and sleep in his bed. We feared she would never snap out of it until we made the decision to adopt Hudson. Hudson was Willow's saviour. From the moment the pair met, they were buddies....they sleep, play, eat, snuggle and ride in the car together. Willow is a completely different dog when she's around Hudson, it's like he was exactly what she was looking for to mend a broken heart. Whether it's chasing each other down the hallway, nibbling hind legs, "boxing" together or running in the parks, Hudson is the best playmate. Hudson is energetic, sociable, happy, playful, and is learning to be obedient. He has come so far since joining our family...he has learned that counters are for humans and not for paws, "cookies" are very good things and can be earned by shaking a paw, jumping is not polite and snuggles are always available. Hudson has so much energy that he joins me on my frequent runs and loves meeting new friends en route. He might even enter his very first race with me this summer! He loves the leash free park and playing with other dogs.

We truly believe that Hudson saved Willow and brought happiness back to our family. Looks like he's the one who adopted us.
