Our Friends, Soul Mates, Family, they were there when we needed them most.

Back in 2009 our family made the decision to try and adopt a boxer from BRO, we were fortunate and blessed to have Ross join our family. He was a typical boxer curious and full of energy. Ross adapted to his new home very quickly, enjoyed walking around his new neighbourhood and meeting new friends. It took very little time to bond with Ross and I very quickly found out he loved to play ball (sometimes it was more like keep away) and loved the freedom of running around in our fenced in back yard. He really enjoyed the weekend trips to the cottage but I could never get him to go swimming in the lake. Otherwise lounging on the deck or a walk through the woods was as good a day as it got. As we both grew older the walks became a little shorter the play time in the back yard was not as boisterous but the one constant was our time together. Even at the end when his back legs were failing him Ross never quit trying to play ball, wanting to go for a walk or greeting old and new friends at the door. He was my friend and I will miss him but I will also cherish the time we had together. Run free and enjoy your renewed health I will see you on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
