Our Friends, Soul Mates, Family, they were there when we needed them most.

We lost our sweetie Chloe (aka Mariska who we adopted from BRO January of 2008) this past Friday January 8, 2016 evening at the Emergency Clinic. We are devastated to say the least and completely lost without her.

Chloe was our little princess and we are all trying to comprehend life without her. The thought that she won't be around to greet us at the door with her Boxer wiggles and snorts, no more snuggles, no more sounds of her squeaky toys (she preferred to lie on her back and just make repetitive sounds with her squeaky toy which could last up to 3-4 minutes at a time then usually led to a tug-of-war with Pita (at 10lbs of Shih Tzu more times than not won Pita won). Then there were the playdates with her boxer buddies, Sammy and Oakley both just houses away. We soon learned early on that Chloe was an outstanding swimmer who would glide through the water and because of her love for the water we invested in a new set of stairs for her and her late boxer brother Jack to get in and out of the pool easier. She loved the pool so much that she'd throw a full on tantrum each fall when closing the pool. The looks of hurt she'd give us along with the huffing, puffing and snorts …. We will miss it all! I'm not sure how we go on without her but definitely want to thank Boxer Rescue of Ontario for allowing us to adopt Chloe, we are so very grateful to have had the time with Chlo-Chlo as we called her.
