Rudy defied the odds from day 1. We conquered food sensitivities and multiple eye ulcer episodes. Rudy remained a sweetheart throughout, making friends wherever we were... and even earning the nickname 'The Wal-mart greeter' at the dog park.
In early October, after some limping issues, we received the devastating diagnosis: carcinoma in Rudy's lungs. We enjoyed the following four weeks as best as we could. I said goodbye to my sweet Rudy on November 1, 2011 at about 11 am.
He would have turned 9 today, December 12... that means Rudy's life spanned 12/12/02 - 11/1/11 11:00... who knew Rudy also had a knack for numbers?
